The proposed project is for a multi-phase site development and building renovations project for Washington University School of Medicine. WUSM has purchased property to accommodate campus growth at 1234 South Kingshighway at the intersection at Swon Ave and Kingshighway. The site was formally known as Universal Printing. The 7.8 Acre site currently includes two single story structures used for storage and manufacturing purposes. The structure recently known as Universal Printing will remain and be re-purposed for office use. This building is a existing masonry and concrete structure approximately 64,590 GSF. The other manufacturing/office structure to the south of Universal printing and along the Union Pacific Railroad will be raised. This structure is a single-story steel masonry structure is approximately 100,000 GSF. The Project is proposed to be completed in phases as listed below. The project budget is $13.6 million for the site development and building renovation and $4 million for the tenant fit out portion.
