In a General Works Package, Kozeny-Wagner completed the renovation consisting of five different locations for the St. Louis County Library System; Cliff Cave Branch, Natural Bridge Branch, Oak Bend Branch, Prairie Commons Branch, and Samuel C. Sachs Branch in Phase I of a master facilities capital improvement plan.
The renovation of the library is a part of the “Your Library Renewed” campaign, a more than 120 million effort to replace or renovate 19 total St. Louis County branches. The campaign is being funded through a $0.06 tax increase in 2012 to fund new facilities and upgrades to existing branches.
These renovated branches will have upgraded and expanded children’s areas, quiet reading rooms, community meeting spaces, family restrooms, collaborative work spaces and expanded computer access.
